Elan 40

The Elan 40 is a performance-oriented racer-cruiser designed by British naval architect Rob Humphreys and built by Elan Marine in Slovenia under the permanent technical supervision of Germanischer Lloyd. The design combines a light hull and fractional rig with the comfort of a full cruiser and is classified in CE design category A. « Marieke » dates from 2002 and offers a great deal in that combination: a sporting hull with three separate cabins, two heads compartments and a warm mahogany interior with a classic yacht feel. The Yanmar engine has run approximately 1,391 hours.
