Standfast 30 (1978) – "Kiss the Wave"

This classic Standfast 30, designed by Frans Maas and built by Everse Jachtwerf, is a timeless cruiser-racer that combines pleasant sailing characteristics with a warm, authentic interior. "Kiss the Wave" lies in Zeebrugge (Belgium) and is in tidy, ready-to-sail condition.

She has been thoughtfully modernised in recent years. The navigation package has largely been renewed with a Raymarine HybridTouch chartplotter, three Raymarine ST60+ instruments (wind, speed, depth), a Raymarine ST2000+ autopilot, an AIS receiver and a recent Raymarine VHF. Power comes from a Volvo Penta MD2030 three-cylinder diesel (approx. 29 hp, engine from 2003) with sail drive.

On deck you will find a teak deck and a spacious, sheltered teak cockpit with a wooden tiller and a Lagun cockpit table. The rig includes a Furlex 200S genoa furling system, two sets of genoa tracks and Harken 44 two-speed winches, with all lines led aft to the cockpit. The sail wardrobe comprises a Dacron mainsail, a jib, a genoa (125%) and a barely used asymmetric spinnaker on a RVS bowsprit. It comes with a genoa cover, lazybag and a Toussain sprayhood.

The classic wooden interior offers a cosy saloon with two settee berths, The saloon table was removed to make it roomy. It can be reinstalled. There is a separate forecabin with a V-berth and a separate heads compartment. Electrics include a renewed switch panel, a Mastervolt battery charger and 230V shore power.

A characterful, well-maintained classic – ideal for lovers of timeless sailing yachts.
